Web Consultant
As Web Consultant you are responsible for implementing the LiveWords software for high-end clients. You have a central role in the technical development of multilingual business-critical websites and web shops, based on the LiveWords platform.
Working closely with the product team, you analyse the customer requirements for implementation. You advise the customer how to use LiveWords optimally. You work pragmatic and result-oriented and have fun trying to find the best solutions possible. During the implementation you are the first contact for the customer.
Besides carrying out implementations, you play a crucial role in further developing the LiveWords product. Together with the product team you give input for critical functionality, based on your implementation experience. You will often be the inventor or originator of product functionality that customers will soon assume as normal.

LiveWords, founded in 2009, is a technology driven company with a new solution for the problems traditionally associated with multilingual websites.
The maintenance of a multilingual website is usually a complex, time consuming and costly process. Did you know that 75% of the cost often goes into development and organization of multilingualism, and only 25% in the translations?
The innovative LiveWords software makes it very simple to add languages to any website of webshop, after which the translations can easily be kept up-to-date by the responsible translators.
LiveWords generates the translated website based on the source code of the original website. This solution saves all structural development costs and most of the energy involved with keeping the translated site up-to-date.

Your Profile
As Web Consultant you are involved starting from the sales process, advising the customer from a functional perspective and recommending the best use of the LiveWords product. You often make the main implementation choices independently, making sure we deliver a manageable solution for the customer.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
• Completed college or university degree;
• Minimum 2 years experience in web development, web deployment, or other IT role;
• Some experience in defining functional requirements for web applications;
• A good view at pros and cons of various scenarios;
• Strong affinity with Web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP and REST;
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like jQuery is a plus;
• Knowledge of CMS technology is an advantage;
• Experience with an agile method like Scrum is a plus.
